Hi! I'm Devanshu.

(pronounced they•vān•shoe) (he/him)

(Please bear with me as I resurrect my portfolio from the WPEngine / WordPress wars.)

I’m 35, currently residing and working 100% remotely in Pottstown, PA. I’m very happily married and enjoy spending as much time outside as I can.  I’ve kayaked the length of the Schuylkill River twice.

I am currently employed full-time and have 3 active clients, so I’m hoping to get this done before Jan 1, 2025. Here’s some employers and clients that I’ve worked for over the last couple of decades:

Comcast

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a semantic design system, define and implement accessibility and WCAG guidelines, and record all design documentation.
  • Build and maintain a component library using Figma and Storybook to reduce fidelity issues and alleviate the load on the QA team
  • Research feature requirements by conducting user interviews, building personas, journeymaps, user flow maps in a Lean UX environment
  • Build wireframes and fully functional prototypes, interaction animations, and support documentation.
  • Build tools and documentation to onboard and shepherd new users and to gather interstitial in-app feedback
  • Build end-to-end service design documents and diagrams for each feature.

In numbers:

  • Managed end-to-end UX processes for an enterprise application that handles $3 billion dollars worth of invoices and used internally by 20,000+ internal and external users.
  • Conducted usability testing across 3 national divisions and subsequently achieved a 65% increase in user satisfaction ratings following the implementation of redesigned features.
  • Conducted numerous user research studies each quarter, resulting in a 80% decrease in user task completion time following implementation of research-driven design improvements.
  • Supervised 3 cross-functional Agile teams to build, manage, and maintain a single React component library for cross-application implementation, aligning with a comprehensive UX roadmap. This initiative resulted in a 40% increase in project completion rates and a 55% reduction in time-to-market for 3 separate applications.
  • Successfully integrated all Comcast related security measures, obtained an orange belt in security process implementation

Above and Beyond:

  • Successfully designed, developed, and launched 2 supplemental websites to the enterprise application supporting process documentation, software training courses, and indexed release notes viewed daily by 8,000+ users.
  • Built the brand identity of the entire suite of applications and teams
